A Dance Drama of Love, War, and Epic Transformation

Set in the ancient city of Jingjue, Oriental Legend follows three young protagonists whose lives collide across cultures and borders: Feng, a steadfast general of the Han Dynasty; Jian Te, the spirited son of a northern tribal leader; and Chun Jun, the wise and courageous daughter of Jingjue’s ruler.

What begins in conflict gradually transforms into trust, unity, and a deep, enduring friendship. Their journey—spanning misunderstanding, discovery, and profound recognition—lies at the heart of this emotionally resonant dance drama.

With its imaginative artistic lens, the production brings to life the stories behind historical cultural relics, celebrates the grace of traditional Chinese culture, and highlights the beauty of multicultural exchange.

Since its premiere in June 2021, Oriental Legend has toured more than 110 times across China, welcomed over 100,000 audience members, and earned more than 600 million online impressions. The production has received two of China’s highest artistic honors—the Excellent Work Award at the 16th “Five-One Project” and the Wenhua Grand Prize at the 17th China National Arts Awards.

Captivating, visually rich, and emotionally powerful, Oriental Legend invites audiences into a world where history, artistry, and human connection converge onstage.
